Purpose built in Manchester, the location complements the existing training facility, whilst offering delegates training in the latest lifting technology. LGH Training has access to an unrivalled array of specialist lifting equipment including gantries, hoists, access platforms and a wide range of lifting gear and accessories, both manual and powered.

A number of specific courses and applications are catered for by purpose built installations. A new overhead crane system has been fitted featuring both pendant and remote control operation. In addition, to complement the 'confined space' course, LGH Training have invested in equipment to simulate confined scenarios found in industry. There is also specially designed equipment to enhance the practical element of the 'height awareness' course offered by the initiative.

Covering all industries, the initiative provides training in all aspects of lifting, with standard courses covering a wide range of disciplines, including general safe use, slinging and signalling, overviews of the relevant legislation and high level health and safety management courses. LGH Training are also able to tailor courses to suit the individual requirements of a particular business.

With 4 facilities in Derbyshire, London and Manchester, LGH Training is able to offer comprehensive training in lifting operations to companies all over the UK. For specific projects the initiative is able to deliver training at the customer's own premises.
