The use of machine moving skates
can be the fastest and most economical way of moving heavy equipment
or if inverted can be used as skid brakes.
- The endless roller chain bridges defects in doors.
- Low overall height enables easy positioning under load.
- Low friction means lower motive force.
- Simple to use.
- Ideal in confined spaces where overhead craneage cannot be used

handle form a useful set and will cover most workshop applications.
Some larger models up to 100 tonne are available at certain locations.
If the floor
is poor or uneven it is advisable to construct steel rails to provide
a good enough
surface when using skates
